Privacy policy
Draft template. Have counsel review before launch. Last updated 2026-10-22.
What we collect
When you request a valuation we collect what you type into the form: your name, job title, work email, phone (optional), company, website and your answers about your team, data and systems. If you arrived from one of our emails or posts, we also record the campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source). We do not collect your company's records through this website, and the form cannot upload files.
What stays in your browser
The estimator, data cards and checkers remember your picks (team size, years, data types, industry, systems and checklist ticks) in your browser's local storage so they stay in sync across pages. That information is not sent to us unless you submit the valuation form, and you can clear it with the Reset button or your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
To prepare your valuation, contact you about it, and run any engagement you choose. We share your answers with prospective buyers only in anonymous form and only within the scope you approve. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
Our website host and our form provider process data on our behalf to run the site and deliver your submission. They may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@yourdomain.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.
Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
The site is static, uses strict security headers and a content security policy, loads no third-party scripts, and sends form data only over HTTPS. No method is perfectly secure, so please never send records, samples or passwords through the form or by email.
